Welcome to the Goliath FX Artist page.
We love working with artists to bring exciting content and new products to the market, and thats where we need you!
Are you a bassist looking for somewhere to call home? From Rock and Metal to Doom and beyond Goliath FX can help shape your tone. What sets us aside from everyone else? Me, I guess. I started Goliath as a way to show case some art and as a way to maybe earn a little extra on the side at comic conventions. We started out taking off the shelf pedals I got cheap and comic book wrapping them and selling them for a little extra at conventions. Then I thought how could we make this a bit more than just a small profit. I started down the rabbit hole of pedal building. I would build anything and everything but finally settled on focusing on the bass pedal market, because I am a bassist.
I played with several bands, from rock to all out metal. I even got to grace the stage at Bloodstock once as a Metal 2 The Masses winner (if you’re in a band, go for that, it’s well worth it!). So I know (or I’d like to think I know) what we bassists are wanting. A lot of my ideas I can’t pursue yet because Goliath isn’t big enough. I’m not known yet in the big forums or from stages. That’s why I need a handful of artists that are willing to push and to share the brand. I need you to create content and share that with other like minded bassists. I need them used on stages to feedback how they perform, I’ve had some good feedback already but to grow we need to know more.
At the moment I am only looking to take on TWO or maybe THREE bassists, yes I know I make a few guitar pedals as well but my passion is in the bass and low end register. I have some really cool ideas (and one epic project) and need to get the brand out there and known to act on them.
So I can hear you asking, what do I get?! Well of course there is an artist discount on the range, its not huge, because I can’t afford it to be at the moment but when it comes to prototypes, if I feel you fit the pedal then I will send one to you to test and try out. If we all agree then it becomes yours. B-stock items will get offered up to the artists first at cost (the sum total of the parts plus a tiny amount for labour) this will include any customer returns.
Trade shows. This is totally voluntary, but if I am doing a show near your home town and you want to go along but don’t wanna buy a ticket for whatever reason, then for helping me set up and breakdown the stall you can have a pass, subject to the show letting me of course. For bigger shows like Birmingham UK Guitar Show or further afield (NAMM I’m looking at you!) then, funds permitting, we could come to some agreement on travel costs.
Pizza party. Hopefully once a year we can all get together somewhere, rent a pool table and get some beers and pizza and have a hang. Maybe bring some amps, pedals and basses and have a good time. Here’s hoping.
I will need you to do your part. If you’re not bringing anything to the table then we will part ways. I will do my best to support you as well by sharing your projects, liking posts etc. The minimum I will ask is you do the same, I need you to be as active with Goliath as you can be.
If you would like to apply to be a Goliath artist, please fill out the form below and we will talk further via email.
I hope you have a great day.
